Jake was born and raised in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and graduated from Auburn University in 2025 with a degree in Biomedical Sciences on the Pre-PT track and a minor in Psychology. A lifelong athlete, he grew up skiing, playing soccer and golf, and later competed in Junior Big Mountain freeskiing. In college, he discovered competitive water skiing, racing against top schools like Alabama and Clemson and earning a spot at Collegiate Nationals. Whether he’s mountain biking, skiing, or working on cars, Jake thrives on movement and challenge.

His interest in physical therapy began after spending plenty of time in rehab from sports-related injuries—a common reality growing up active in the Tetons. That early exposure sparked a lasting curiosity about recovery and performance, which has grown into a clear goal: to attend PT school and eventually return to a mountain-town community where he can help others get back to the activities they love.
