Karen, who goes by Kars, is passionate about reading, traveling, and giving back through volunteer work. Throughout her late teenage and early 20s, she had the privilege of working with indigenous communities, volunteering in a small clinic, and supporting malnourished children in slum areas. Since 2020, she has been working in healthcare, focusing on medical billing, which she finds incredibly fulfilling. Karen lives near the beach in the beautiful province of the Philippines, where she is joined by her son, who competes in international academic competitions, and her partner. They love the balance of life by the beach and the energy of her son’s accomplishments.
